Thanks for your answer, Khaled,

As I can't read/write Arabic (and therefore don't know how to
reproduce the bug, I actually can't try testing...)...but,
hopefullysomeone else (Adnène?) will.

Did you make any other changes to the font? If not, that could make
the font OK to be packaged for Debian (as we're in freeze, new
upstream versions are discouraged).
