I've just uploaded a new version of freedict-tools_0.2-1, as well as the
prerelease http://mdcc.cx/~joostvb/tmp/freedict-deu-nld_0.1-1.dsc .
I've documented my changes in debian/changelog.  It seems what I want is
possible :)
