I faced this too! It completely scrapped my system for a while with php
process hitting 1.2gigs. Looks like some serious bug has got introduced
into friendica after Mike Macgirvin stopped active development!.

"PHP message: PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/vasudev/Public/friendica/include/dba.php on line 221


Recently I wiped my instance because I was getting too many 504 gateway
error and now when I try to install it my system just hangs without
allowing me to get the friendica setup working!.

Tobias this is a serious bug can you please get a opinion on this in friendica?
