The fact is that sometime git commit can be very big and you don't need
to archive them. That's why I'd prefer a separate -commits list,
read-only except for mails coming from alioth.debian.org (which should
be the default case) and not archived.

As soon as a decision has been taken, I'll add all the necessary stuff
to the git repositories ;-)
