Thanks! Building for armel right now.
Here is a little task for the next release, noticed by the lintian tool:
W: mumpot: manpage-has-useless-whatis-entry usr/share/man/man1/download_osm.1.gz
N:
N: The whatis entry for this manual page (the brief description found in
N: the NAME section) is of the form:
N:
N: program - manual page for program
N:
N: This conveys no information about what the program is for and is
N: repetitive. The short description should contain brief information
N: about what the program is for to aid in searching with apropos and
N: similar programs.
N:
N: If this manpage was generated by help2man, use the -n option to
N: provide a more meaningful description.
N:
N: Severity: normal; Certainty: certain
N:
W: mumpot: manpage-has-useless-whatis-entry usr/share/man/man1/get_maprect.1.gz
W: mumpot: manpage-has-useless-whatis-entry usr/share/man/man1/mumpot.1.gz
W: mumpot: manpage-has-useless-whatis-entry usr/share/man/man1/osm2places.1.gz
W: mumpot: manpage-has-useless-whatis-entry usr/share/man/man1/simplify-gps.1.gz
And how about having one binary and a GUI that lets you switch between
the different maps and styles? Maybe even with large finger-compatible
buttons that show (statically) how the maps look like? It would make it
easer to add a .desktop file (because now, one would either have to add
many, or make a random selection).
Greetings,
Joachim
