It seems you were wrong, since if I clone a test repository [1],
gbp.conf is not included, but it was present in my local .git repository
folder when I pushed to Alioth.

I'll discuss this with upstream, in the meantime I'll use a modified
.gbp.conf and `git-buildpackage --git-ignore-new` :-D
