I think it's quite important that we have the ability to
edit/compile/run the code on developer machines fast.  We can be
pedantic about what gets into the official archive, but it's much
creative than having to hack up cross-compilation support for every
single package. (well, not as fast as cross-compilation, but much
faster than native builds or native emulated builds).

So, I think it's valuable to have some native support or helper
installer scripts for distcc cross-compilation setup.
