Version 20080808.git43620428-2 installed and booted fine here. Thanks
a lot!

Now that everyone has the same kernel and the build procedure is
repeatable I can start to figure out why wlan often fails (events/0
eats 20% cpu time [1]) and arecord causes kernel oops[2].
