[pkg-fso-maint] install.sh from 20090826 - no touchscreen... HAL -problem?

yesterday evening I installed DEBAIN on uSD by the GREAT new script....
GOOG WORK!!
at installation there was an ERROR (on buttom of the mail):
Can't start Hardware abstraction layer - enable inotify support in your kernel ... failed!
.... but my GTA02 bootet with TOUCHSCREEN....
after rebooting I had no TS anymore...
