[pkg-fso-maint] Reference SD image/tarball?

Dear all,

it just occurred to me that I would already by happy if I could dump an image to my SD
directly, rather than running through the cdebootstrap with install.sh. Or if there was
some giant tarball to extract. This would IMO further reduce the divergence between
installations and help to discuss problem solving. At least from my perception I am
accrediting the things that don't work to my incapabilities to configure everything
correctly (sometimes thinking that my machine does not work right, but Qtopia does bits
that Debian does not) and a reference install would boost my confidence rather
dramatically to claim something as not working.

I am prepared to offer such a (still dysfunctional) SD tarball myself, as it is produced
by today's install.sh. Changes requested to the image/tarball should be accompanied with
patches for install.sh. Some page on wiki.debian.org should take track of it all. Would
this be helpful or a distraction?

Cheers,

Steffen
