fso-usaged is the sucessor (implemented in vala and part of cornucopia) of the
internal ousaged of frameworkd which should make it more reliable. According
to Mickey it's preferred over ousaged starting with milestone 5.5 for
reliability reasons. But it also works reliable (for me at least) with
older frameworkd versions. Install-instructions can be found in the list
archives

fso-abyss is a muxer similiar to fso-gsm0710muxd. The core code is in
libgsm0710mux which will be bound directly to the coming fso-gsmd (part of
cornucopia), so fso-abyss is simply a wrapper around this lib till fso-gsmd is
finished. Im using abyss exclusively during the last months with more hickups
than before :-). Installing abyss needs some dependency tweaks, as current
frameworkd-versions depend on fso-gsm0710muxd and abyss conflicts with it.
