[pkg-fso-maint] is there need for debian-openmoko at list.debian.org?

Hi,
during debconf I met many people who use debian on openmoko hardware
and had many interesting conversations. I think these should continue
after debconf.
What is the right forum for this? I don't think it should be limited
to IRC since that is not searchable. I don't feel that it belongs to
pkg-fso-maint since I think it should be reserved for real development
and not for exchanging random ideas. I also don't think that
lists.openmoko.org is friendly for users since there is a lot of
non-debian traffic.
Is smartphones-userland appropriate place for talking for example
about non-fso programs like regular gpsd?
I know we already have many mailing lists but would it sound sensible
to have a debian-openmoko at lists.debian.org mailing list that'd be
similar in spirit to e.g. debian-laptop at lists.debian.org?
(I don't know, that's why I am asking)
