Hi,
I’m trying to revive my FreeRunner. After upgrading the kernel image and
rebooting, usb networking did not work. Since, for some other reason, I
could not start an xterm, I had to boot from flash and login in with via
chroot.
The problem is fixed by runing depmod, but I’m not sure what went wrong
during installation. I also recall that I had this problem with an
earlier version of the 2.6.29 package as well.
This mail is not a proper bugreport (until I debugged this more), but
maybe someone knows more about this already.
Greetings,
Joachim
