I would say it is a matchbox-keyboard bug which happens mostly with the
Glamo chipset.  However, if this is related to Xtest, it is a Glamo bug:

Well, what is is ~/.xsession is the default installation, thus if we
switch to xf86-video-glamo by default in install.sh, then ~/.xsession
needs everything to have a working X11 (as well as ~/.Xresources).
