2.6.28_20090105.git69b2aa26-3 and 2.6.29_20090303.gitb9de904e-2, in both
cases I get the expected result.

I can obtain weird offsets playing with `xrandr -s $NUMBER` as I
reported at

  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=500844#43
