firstly, let me thank you for all your bug hunting and ideas to fix them over all the past
weeks. Truly impressive.

Concerning your RFC, the option that imposes fewer OpenMoko-specific management is
preferabe IMO.

That said, I agree that 2) would be the way to go, at least for a stable system. Could we
as a start have a pw that is easier to type (tip) on the OpenMoko? Something like "42",
maybe? This is probably not secure enough (like changeme?) and is not unlikely to produce
other difficulties with some current or future PAM version, I am afraid.
