I guess I did express myself wrongly here ... sorry

I added a comment section to fso-config git explaining the switch to abyss.
So when Sebastian uploads the new config-package, installing abyss and 
following the instructions in the config will do the switch.

Or simply add the following lines to your frameworkd.conf in the osgmd-
section:
	# choose your muxer, available types are: gsm0710muxd [default], fso-abyss
	ti_calypso_muxer = fso-abyss
