Hi,
I uploaded a new frameworkd version into pkg-fso 2 days ago. This
version already implements big parts of opimd and you will need it
for pyphonelog, which has also been packaged by me. I suggest to
install it if you are using SHR, because the dialer window will
close once the call is finished/canceled. As a result you won't
know if somebody called you in your absence.
Please note, that fso-frameworkd now depends on python-phoneutils,
which in turn depends on libphone-utils. I will clean those
packages, so that they can go into main as soon as possible.
Actually I think all that's missing is a debconf system for the
configuration file of libphone-utils.
Also be aware of the fact, that I didn't update the gta02 config
package. You will have to edit the file yourself if you want to have
opimd enabled ;) The opimd section is supposed to look like this:
[opimd]
# set 1 to disable a module
disable = 0
contacts_default_backend = CSV-Contacts
messages_default_backend = SIM-Messages-FSO
calls_default_backend = SQLite-Calls
dates_default_backend = SQLite-Dates
notes_default_backend = SQLite-Notes
tasks_default_backend = SQLite-Tasks
contacts_merging_enabled = 1
messages_default_folder = Unfiled
messages_trash_folder = Trash
sim_messages_default_folder = SMS
rootdir = ../etc/freesmartphone/opim:/etc/freesmartphone/opim:/usr/etc/freesmartphone/opim
To get the full SHR stack into Debian two other packages are missing
by the way: opimd-utils and shr-settings. These depends on
python-elementary, which in turn depends on libelementary. I
packaged python-elementary using the libelementary version, which is
currently available in Debian, but it has missing symbols, so we
need to wait for the next libelementary version of pkg-e.
Heiko Stuebner: I took over your added "Recommends: fso-usaged". I
think we should update the gta02 config package to use (and depend)
on fso-usaged. It will need an update anyways for the new opimd
entries.
P.S.: frameworkd package update can't be found in the debian git repository
at the moment because I got confused by the amount of
branches. I think they need a cleanup.
