Regarding kernel packaging I don't think it's worth to further update
the current openmoko kernel package. For the d-i GSoC project we
started to add an s3c24xx flavour to the official debian kernel
package. This work is in the pkg-fso/kernel.git repository on
git.debian.org. This repository tracks the kernel teams SVN repo with
git-svn. The current package just contains the patches that are either
already upstream or sent upstream for inclusion. The goal of this
branch is to eventually be included in the official Debian kernel
package.
I think that all further kernel packaging should be done on a separate
branch starting from the branch amied at the official package.
In the next days we will upload a new kernel package based on this
repo which contains everything needed to run d-i.
