I've managed to build package with qemubuilder as described at
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianOnFreeRunner#DevelopingApplicationsForAndOnDebian
and especially (linked from there)

Unfortunately qemubuilder on my desktop machine is slower than
building on the freerunner itself.
(DDs can also access agricola.debian.org which is faster, unless
people are compiling other stuff there.)
