[pkg-fso-maint] install.sh - should it prepare the desktop more?

Hello,

I am pretty happy about the continuous momentum that the OpenMoko sees.
My (mostly) pure install.sh machine is working along nicely.

When showing our pioneering friend to colleagues, they find it amazing
to (tediously) press CTRL-ALT-X for the xterm and then start apps from
there. No idea, why they find this strange :)

What are you running, or even more importantly, what do you think
install.sh should prepare? I would like to collect your thoughts for a
while about what minimal desktop there could possibly be. I know/recall
the minimalistic setup to be very important to Luca. Any addition should
hence certainly only be optional to the current extremely minimalistic
setup.

Many thanks

Steffen
