[pkg-fso-maint] inconsistant use of 'master' vs 'debian' in git

Hi all,
I've checked out fso-frameworkd, installer, mokomaze, nodm,
and zhone.
They are inconsistently using their origin/debian vs master branches for
head.
Is this deliberate? would it be worth trying to pick one format and
applying it to all the source trees? Feel free to shoot me down, I just
found it a bit odd :)
