Hi,

most of the software that I run on my freerunner are properly packaged
in debian. The only three major exceptions have been boot loader, linux
and ogsmd (I made some hacks since I don't want to run the full
fso-frameworkd stuff).

I tried to rebase the u-boot patches against current u-boot. I gave up
after two hours. It can be done but needs somebody who wants to spend
time learning Qi and has time to play with debug board for a month. Sad,
bu that's the impression I got.

So, the final solution is to package Qi. Initial version is at

http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-fso/qi.git

Please review and comment it. I'm not asking for sponsors right now so
don't be afraid that it'll cause extra work for you :-) It's lintian
clean, builds in unstable pbuilder and should have complete
debian/copyright, however. I also tested both documented installation
methods.

-Timo
