I finally found some time to check your fso-gsmd upload (I just
checked the debian/ directory so far). Here's my list of issues:
1. use the git repositories ;)
2. rename debian/patches/debian-changes to something useful
3. fix this patch (proper header, why are there makefile changes?)
4. lintian-overrides is not meant to get rid of correct lintian warnings
(at least the one about the manpage is correct)
Apart from that I don't think it's a good idea to create one package
per device. Each of those packages is very small (a shared object +
configuration file) and storage of smartphones grows. If this style
of packaging would have been done on the PC platform there would be
millions of packages today).
I guess you are already using emdebian, since you care about these
few kB of storage. Probably they have some tips for you how to get
rid of the additional files in the package.
