Well... I'd need to install the headers, kernel source, and compiler
toolchain on my FR, then I need to figure out how to compile just the
two modules I need.

For you its just remembering to enabling two config options when you
make new packages (like when the bq27x00 driver works).

btw, the bmp085 is also on the navboard v3 and in the GTA04, so other
might also be interested in having it enabled.  (can't make quite the
same claim for the hmc5843 as the GTA04 uses different compass hardware)
