That was now two years ago.  Could you check this again to see if it's 
stabilized a bit?

I also think this should have a higher severity than just 'wishlist'.  It 
effectively breaks nodm when other display managers are installed, and it's 
not very nice to have to remove them, because the desktop environments' 
metapackages depend on them (e.g. gnome-core depends on gdm3).
