Damn it. It's all because we're currently not checking the path to
compile from vala source when checking the distribution archives. Need
to fix this for the future.
Anyway, there is now a new version 0.11.2 of fsodeviced which should fix
the second problem you discovered. I checked everything locally and
fsodeviced should now compile from vala source without any problems.
