If I correctly interpreted the following,
/var/log/dpkg.log.4.gz:2017-01-24 15:51:39 upgrade nodm:amd64 0.12-1.1 0.13-1
I appear to be upgrading from 0.12-1.1, which was installed 2017-01-23.

That seems to be right. Purging and reinstalling produces the bug for
versions >= 0.12-1.1, but not with 0.12-1.
