I've managed to get the lintian list down to this on newmaster.

W: gambas3-gb-sdl: hardening-no-fortify-functions
usr/lib/gambas3/gb.sdl.sound.so.0.0.0
W: gambas3-script: binary-without-manpage usr/bin/gbs3
W: gambas3-script: binary-without-manpage usr/bin/gbw3
W: gambas3-gb-compress: hardening-no-fortify-functions
usr/lib/gambas3/gb.compress.so.0.0.0
W: gambas3-gb-data: hardening-no-fortify-functions
usr/lib/gambas3/gb.data.so.0.0.0
W: gambas3-gb-compress-zlib: hardening-no-fortify-functions
usr/lib/gambas3/gb.compress.zlib.so.0.0.0
W: gambas3-gb-compress-bzlib2: hardening-no-fortify-functions
usr/lib/gambas3/gb.compress.bzlib2.so.0.0.0
W: gambas3-gb-sdl-sound: hardening-no-fortify-functions
usr/lib/gambas3/gb.sdl.sound.so.0.0.0

"hardening-no-fortify-functions" is generated because lintian believes
we are not using a particular GCC security features. However we are
using it, it's just those binaries are too small to detect it (otherwise
the warning would occur for all of our binary packages)
My understanding is we can ignore it.

The missing man files I don't get: gbs3.1 and gbw.1 are there in debian/
and references are in the rules file to be installed.
