No, nothing should use sqlite2. MOTU & Ubuntu team wish to drop it
completely out of the archive, now that asterisk 11 is available it is
feasible to do, but it did slip 14.04 trusty. I will remove sqlite2
completely from 14.10. If gambas fails to work without sqlite2, please
file bugs and we'll look into fixing this.

In ubuntu, unlike debian enabling all possible options is not a desirable goal.

I'd wish for sqlite2 to also be removed from Debian, but that's not my
call to make, hence i didn't propose that change back to debian.
