Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Could you try the latest version recently uploaded to
karmic? You can use a Live-CD for that purpose. Thanks in advance.

Status in “holotz-castle” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: holotz-castle

When a character has died, the death tune will sound. If this is skipped by pressing enter to restart the level, then sometimes all game sounds will be reduced in volume until the level is started again.

This effects the current version in Gutsy:
holotz-castle:
  Installed: 1.3.9-1
  Candidate: 1.3.9-1
  Version table:
 *** 1.3.9-1 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com gutsy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

To reproduce, simply play, die, then press enter to restart the level during the death sequence as soon as possible. This seems to be fairly easily reproduced about 50/60% of the time.
