The 'Intel' bit is a giveaway. This is as much a problem with the Intel
drivers having poor OpenGL support as it is with Ubuntu making poor
driver choices for 9.04.

This is NOT a problem with Warzone -- and these is little that we
developers can do about it. The problems are with the Intel drivers.

Maybe you could persuade the Ubuntu developers to add Warzone to their
QA/test suite. Just because a set of drivers will run compiz and
glxgears does not mean that it is release-worthy ;)

Bug description:
Warzone2100 - Jaunty 64bits - Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07) (aka Intel X4500HD)

The game menu work great. Playing the game seem to work but all the screen is black except the menus and the vehiculs "life-bar".
