Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers.  You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage.  I have classified this bug as a bug in oolite.
For future reference you might be interested to know that a lot of applications have bug reporting functionality built in to them.   This can be accessed via the Report a Problem option in the Help menu for the application with which you are having an issue. Status in “oolite” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Playing Oolite 1.72 (snagged from package repository - no addon packages) on Ubuntu 9.04. Randomly switches screen from full-screen to partial, no keyboard input is recognised, but mouse is.

WORKAROUND: Minimise window, then re-maximise window.  Restores normal function for 3-13 minutes, then it re-occurs.

I think this is a problem in Ubuntu 9.04 or X, as this program worked perfectly with Ubuntu 8.10 - only became apparant since upgraded distro.

I don't have sufficient Linux knowledge to try to fix this myself...yet!

Hardware: Intel P4 (2.66 GHz, 512MB 333MHz DDR RAM, Radeon 9200 128MB AGP card).
