[Pkg-games-ubuntu] [Bug 433447] [NEW] xmoto switches screen mode to one which cannot be displayed by monitor

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xmoto

When starting up, xmoto goes fullscreen and tries to change screen mode.
After that my monitor is unable to display anything, and I cannot even
close xmoto because I don't see controls. (killing xmoto by ssh works).

This is despite changing configuration file to use windowed mode
(configuration file attached). `xmoto -win` works.
