Status in “wesnoth” package in Ubuntu: New
Bug description:
Please sync wesnoth 1:1.6.5-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* debian/rules: add compiler flag to ignore "uninitialized" warnings
- fixed in gcc, see gcc-bugzilla 40156
* debian/patches/03strict-aliasing: add explicit casts to
SDLNet_{Read,Write}32 arguments to avoid "strict aliasing" warnings
- fixed upstream, see debbugs 539546
* Specify the version of boost we are building against (1.38) since we have
other Ubuntu changes
- not needed now
Changelog since current karmic version 1:1.6.4-1ubuntu1:
wesnoth (1:1.6.5-1) unstable; urgency=low
* New upstream stable release.
* Updated copyright informations for upstream.
* Changed debianization licensing to BSD style.
* Removed outdated and obsolete README.Debian file.
* Use dh_prep instead of dh_clean -k.
* Bumped to Standards-Version 3.8.3.
