I can confirm this issue.

Karmic
CPU remains maxed out with processes remaining in the background.
Xorg process is also more stressed than normal with at 15 to 20 percent

When playing a multi-player game of Glest, a connecting Glest application will sometimes terminate with this error on the command line:

Apparent recovery for connection sock = 13, err = 1, errno = 0

Exception: Disconnected
The Glest server and other clients continue to function OK.
All hosts participating in the network game (clients and server) are running Ubuntu 9.10 using glest package version 3.2.2-1ubuntu1.
