Actually, I think you misread my last comment. ;)

Anyway, you might also find this commit interesting:

games/?op=comp&compare[]=%2Fpackages%2Fbranches%2Fwesnoth at 10620&compare[]=%2Fpackages%2Fbranches%2Fwesnoth at 10645>

The bug will get fixed with the upcoming 1.8 release which then will
get pushed to ubuntu again.

 Have fun!
Rhonda

Remove campaign recommendations

You received this bug notification because you are a member of
Debian/Ubuntu Games Team, which is subscribed to wesnoth in ubuntu.

Status in “wesnoth” package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Binary package hint: wesnoth

Currently wesnoth meta package recommends 3 campaigns.
1. wesnoth-ttb (A tale of two brothers) - Novice level, 478KB download
2. wesnoth-httt (Heir to the throne) - Novice level, 5874KB download
3. wesnoth-tsg (The south guard) - Novice level, 1801KB download

It is my suggestion to do one of the following change.
1. Remove all recommendations to reduce download size on first install.
2. If we must keep recommendation then it is better to keep one with smalled download size, wesnoth-ttb. There is another one slightly smaller than it, wesnoth-aoi. But I haven't played wesnoth-aoi so can not comment about it.
