Status in “supertuxkart” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Binary package hint: supertuxkart

Supertuxkart's CPU usage is acceptable on launch, but rapidly increases until it hits 99%. It takes probably 15 minutes to get to the point where the sound has disappeared and the game starts to slow down considerably. Needless to say, nothing else works well when Supertuxkard has been running for a while.
