Nope. I wrote too soon. The problem is back on the next level. The game
runs very slowly early in a level, and speeds up as the number of
crossings decreases.

Maybe I just need a faster computer. ^_^

gplanarity usually is very responsive, but now it takes about ten seconds to respond to clicking a dot representing a graph node, and another ten seconds for moving a dot. I am on level 361. There is nothing obvious in the current game file (attached) to suggest the cause.

The problem does not occur when I start a new game as a different user.

This problem started when I upgraded to Maverick.
