or set it up so that a text file is displayed with instructions to
resize the window.

or does gplanarity have a config file?  change the default window size?

glad i got to this site...  big thanks to the guy who found out and
posted to resize the window....  else i would have just uninstalled the
game and moved on..

After start the window is just gray. There is no menu, no controls, nothing. However it does not hang. It can be exited as usual with the x in the top right corner.
