Why isn't java6-runtime in the repositories?

What's the point of even listing it as a possible depend?

How do I install Sun's Java and remove openjdk without uninstalling
freecol?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: freecol

When I try to play a game in freecol runs properly until I end the first turn upon which the game crashes.

The Error Log is attached.

Java Info:
JRE version: 6.0_18-b18
Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (16.0-b13 mixed mode linux-amd64 )

When I run freecol in terminal I receive the following:
