This could be a duplicate of bug #214168.

Upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10 (which include intel 2.12.0) should fix this
issue.

** Changed in: openarena (Ubuntu)

Status in “openarena” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
I am unable to provide a screenshot of the issue; however the colors are distorted in the game since the upgrade to Jaunty. I have attempted to change the settings to the display without any affect at all. The forum user suggested I use the Metacity WM, but that produces no effect.
When I was using Intrepid, the graphics would launch the same way as above, but I could alleviate that issue by going into the menu and turning the GL Extensions on or off(it did not seem to matter which way was default, I just had to switch it during the game after launch).
This workaround no longer affects the graphics.
