  Lincity-ng crashes on startup

Status in “lincity-ng” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: lincity-ng

  Just installed into a fully updated Ubuntu 10.04 desktop 32bit
  install. When you start the game from the menu, you see nothing apart
  from a quick flash on the screen.

  Start it from the CLI and the following is reported:
