  treaty window not accepting input

Status in “freeciv” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In the 'Treaty' window, you can propose things, but not accept the
  treaty OR you can't propose things but you can accept.  Only one
  player seems able to 'accept' treaties at a time.  Accept button does
  nothing when clicked.

  Oh and the hardy version, 
  Freeciv version 2.1.3 gui-gtk-2.0
  (gtk version)
