This bug also affects OpenArena 0.8.5-7 on Ubuntu 11.04 with kernel
2.6.38-11 (32 bits).

I have try PC's with Intel GPU (GMA950) and ATi GPU with open-source
drivers (Radeon 9600Pro & Xpress 200 IGP). These are all affected.
Playing the game in a window (not full-screen) does not make the
brightness-setting work.

Systems with nVidia GPU & closed source drivers are NOT affected. On
these systems, the in-game brightness setting works correctly.
