Hi Jamin,

the backtrace on console shows at start:

*** buffer overflow detected ***: lordsawar terminated
======= Backtrace: =========
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(__fortify_fail+0x37)[0x7f3277f80007]

So, there may be a bug direct in the standard C library or with
lordsawar itself.

I have seen that you have customize your system (kernel3.5 is not in
Ubuntu12.04) which make this report problematic.

I suggest you two steps. First please report this issue also upstream
at:

http://www.nongnu.org/lordsawar/

and their bugtracker

http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?group=lordsawar

then link that back here over "Also affects project".

The second is:

When you already figure arround with the newest(your kernel) you may
want to do:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QuantalQuetzal/TechnicalOverview/Alpha3#Upgrading_from_Ubuntu_12.04_LTS

to summarise

update-manager -d

from terminal(backup your system first).

There will be also the latest glibc which may be here the problem.

There is also a new version of lordsawar. I do not know if it has the
same issue or if it works.
