If this bug is still occurring with supertuxkart 0.8.x, please file a new bug using apport.

Title:
  Screen keeps flickering after executing SuperTuxKart

Bug description:
  After installing and executing SuperTuxKart, the screen has been
  flickering.

  I tried to take a screenshot, but the screenshot does not show the flickering.
  The screen looks [not exactly] like this [http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7199/imag0031yt.jpg]  (Image not taken by me)

  I did the following:

  1) Install SuperTuxKart from the Software Center

  2)  Run STK from Unity Launcher

  4) STK Window appeared without any image (Just the window borders),
  and freezes.

  5) Kill X with Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace

  6) Login Again

  7) Whole screen is flickering. Specially when I open the Dash.

  While typing this I notice that the screen flickers when I change
  Windows. For example, when I use Alt+Tab to move from Firefox to
  another app, or to display the desktop. Or when I open the Dash.

  
  EDIT: I was able to reproduce this many times.
