Come on, this is a huge deal, remember? I couldn't close this un-touched
ticket, even though the problem has been found, but completely ignored,
until I closed the ticket, and then I get attacked. Let's get with the
program. lol. Is this fixed by the Ubuntu packagers, or is it in the
process of being fixed? This needs to be fixed, or at least updated by
someone from the Ubuntu packagers so that we can have an update as to
the progress of the fix, if this is such a major deal.

Thanks

Title:
PlayOnLinux requires curl even though it isn't a dependancy

Status in “playonlinux” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When I try to open PlayOnLinux from Terminal with the command
`playonlinux` or from the Application Finder (Xubuntu) I get the
  following message:

`PlayOnLinux cannot find curl (from cURL)

You need to install it to continue`

If it needs to have curl to be run, surely it should be a dependancy?
