[Pkg-games-ubuntu] [Bug 1315651] Re: playonlinux-bash missing in packages since raring

Hi,

I checked this issue against a fresh install of kubuntu 14.04. I placed
the missing wrapper script in /usr/bin/ and everything worked for me as
it should.

The thing I now wonder is if I should follow my plan doing a postinst
script that will place the missing file if it's not existing. Could
there be problems if this file was patched by my postinst script and an
update of playonlinux package comes in trying to place the same file?

Any advisories? Should I wait for patching? If you don't plan to fix
this, I also could place the file in a debian package. Could that lead
to the same update-problems I'm considering?

Best wishes,

André

Title:
playonlinux-bash missing in packages since raring

Status in “playonlinux” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Hi there,

it seems that you missed to add playonlinux-bash in the
playonlinux.install file in your debian source package.

Probably nobody missed it so far due playonlinux will nontheless work
  proper.

I am running into problems while working on my project, which makes
  usage of playonlinux-bash:

  http://sourceforge.net/projects/wineportscripts/

The problem is a trivial and can be fixed instantly. Just add the
playonlinux-bash wrapper to debian/bin/ and add

  debian/bin/playonlinux-bash usr/bin/

at the end of playonlinux.install file.

  many thanks

  André
