Hey,

this actually should be solved since 1.2.5 according to upstream
changelog. (See http://code.google.com/p/ganeti/source/detail?r=1261
for the change).
But this is also mentioned in their forums/groups:

Or actually not, it does not mention any timeout there, but it's said
to work with 8.10.

Can you post the whole backtrace you get from Python? Is it the same as
in the thread?
